Help us secure Heritage Lottery Funding

Sedbergh School is applying for funding that will help us to preserve and provide access to our fascinating archive collection. The funding would allow us to catalogue the collection professionally making it easier for researchers to discover the breadth of the collection, provide museum standard preservation materials for storing the items so that they will be preserved in the long term and to create a ‘pop up’ exhibition about the history of the school that would tour local community centres and Sedbergh School events. HELP SUPPORT THE BLOOD, SWEAT AND GEARS CHALLENGE

On Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday last weekend, a team of 24 pupils and staff from Sedbergh School, including Headmaster Andrew Fleck and Deputy Headmaster Dan Harrison, participated in the Blood Sweat and Gears cycle challenge. The team competed against a team from PWS Distributors based in York station and Baltic Training based in Newcastle station, businesses owned by Old Sedberghians Mark Stephenson and Freddie Peart. THE SUMMER COUNTRY FAYRE

OSs are warmly invited to the Summer Country Fayre that is happening at Casterton Sedbergh Preparatory School at Casterton on Saturday 11th June 10am to 4pm. It is a huge community event and all activities on offer are FREE. The day itself will provide the opportunity to explore various outdoor pursuits with live music, kite demonstrations, children’s entertainment, country clothing and gift stalls and the chance to sample local produce and delicacies.
