The Black Bull

Refurbishment work started this week to transform the vacant hotel building on main Street into The Black Bull, scheduled to re-open in July after two years of closure. This will add 20 much needed quality bedrooms to the town and will be run, in partnership with investors, by James and Nina, who currently operate the multi-award winning Three Hares café and restaurant opposite. A Message from The Chairman

Once again the days are getting longer and soon we’ll all be putting on our old sports socks and reliving our youth by running in the cool air of an evening. While the fireplace and the TV are always tempting alternatives, I shall be running (a word I use in its broadest sense) in the park as I have a race coming up for which I need to start training. OS Wilson Run Dinner After the success of last year’s OS Wilson Run Dinner at Simonstone Hall the Old Sedberghian Club will be hosting the event there again in 2018. Simonstone Hall is located near Hawes (15 miles from Sedbergh) has a Sedbergh connection with the hotel as the director, Jake Dinsdale is an OS.
