Remembering Richard Thomas (‘RHT’)

Sedberghian Master 1967 – 2002 Richard Hugh Thomas, former Physics Master from 1967-2002, sadly passed away on Christmas Eve. He had become unwell and died peacefully at Lancaster Infirmary, having seen the whole family. Richard’s Funeral was held on Friday 4th January at St Andrew’s, Sedbergh. The following tribute written by John Sykes was published in the 2002 Sedberghian Magazine to mark Richard’s retirement from Sedbergh School. After thirty-five years, that is, 105 terms, RHT retires. Peter Allen – Memorial Evensong in Edinburgh

Peter Allen – Teacher, Chaplain and Second Master at Sedbergh 1987-93 – sadly passed away on December 25th, 2018. A Memorial Service was held in celebration of his life at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, Edinburgh on Friday 3rd February. Information from the Diocese of Edinburgh can be found below.
