2022 Morgan Run

Morganrunnn

All OS are warmly invited to take part in the upcoming Morgan Run, which will take place on Frostrow Fell on Saturday 26th February at 14:30. The OS Club will also be hosting, for the first time, a Morgan Run Dinner following the race at The Dalesman Country Inn, Sedbergh, at 17:00. If you are interested in running and would like to attend the Dinner, please contact Ben Collins at bpc@sedberghschool.org.

The Morgan Run was established in 1958 and is one of Sedbergh’s most popular and characterful events, regularly drawing around several hundred Sedberghians of past and present up and down the gullies of Frostrow Fell. The competition is a race of 4.8 miles for OS against the School, Staff and Sedbergh Town as four different teams. Although the OS squad had a long, dry spell without winning the competition since 2005, 2022 will see the OS team going for a hat trick of wins having won in both 2019 and 2020. The 2021 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
