HEADMASTER BECOMES OLD SEDBERGHIAN

Andrew Fleck

Sedbergh School has become a leading light in the North of England and pupils of the School now stand at a record five hundred and fifteen. It has gained an outstanding reputation both nationally and internationally. At the same time it has taken bold steps to secure its future with the introduction of the Sedbergh Junior School at Casterton which is also flourishing.

In recognition of this outstanding success, and at a time when some other notable public schools are struggling, the Club bestowed a life time honorary membership of the Old Sedberghian Club upon the Headmaster Andrew Fleck at the Club’s AGM. I am glad to report that he was absolutely thrilled to be our newest member and even swapped his tie with that of Rodney Swarbrick’s at the OS dinner so that he could show off his new status to much applause and cheers from the assembled crowd.
