OS HOCKEY CLUB
The OS Hockey Club meets twice a year during OS Weekend (usually between September-November) for an annual match against the school team, as well as the invitational, round-robin Dean Close Hockey Sixes Tournament which takes place in October in Cheltenham. Please see more information about the event below. New players are always welcome so please get in touch with Ben Collins (bpc@sedberghschool.org) if you are interested getting involved.
The Old Sedberghian Club will again be entering an OS women's hockey team into this year’s Alumni Sixes Hockey Tournament on Sunday 25th October 2020. The tournament will take place as usual at Dean Close School in Cheltenham.
Tournament Details:
• 6 a side, max squad of 12.
• Team briefings at 10.30am, First group push back 11am, Final at 3pm.
• Final will be played for the Denys Carnill Cup.
• Latest laws of hockey apply.
• All players must be genuine ‘Old Girls’.
• Lunch provided for all teams and spectators.
Hotel accommodation will be provided to all players on Saturday 24th October courtesy of the OS Club and there will also be a team Dinner in Cheltenham on the Saturday evening.
