INVITING ALL TO THE 2020 VIRTUAL REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE AT SEDBERGH SCHOOL

Remembrance Sunday is an important national event which commemorates those who gave their lives in service to others, it is also a special event in the Sedbergh School calendar which has been well
attended by a great number of OS, parents, and friends of the School for many years.

Remembrance Service will this year take place at the School Cloisters this coming Sunday 8th November 2020. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War so it is only right that Remembrance Sunday should not pass without being suitably marked at Sedbergh. Pupils and staff will meet in socially distanced bubbles on Sunday morning for a poignant Service of Remembrance, held around the School’s Victoria Cross Memorial.

Government guidelines require that organisers do not open Services to the public. We know this is disappointing to parents, Old Sedberghians and members of the community who wish to attend and are sorry you cannot join us. Service updates will be able to keep abreast of the service by following the Sedbergh School Twitter feed (click here). Please click here for more information from Principal Andrew Fleck.
