OS/ANTI-ASSASSINS BEAT CAMBRIDGE 1ST XV

It was inspiring to see such a large number of OS and Sedbergh staff representing the Anti-Assassins as they defeated the Cambridge University 1st XV 14-12 on January 23rd at Grange Road.

The match was an enthralling encounter with high quality rugby from both sides illustrating the importance of this traditional fixture. It was also fantastic to see some faithful OS support in the crowd.Play was called off during the 62nd minute due to the pitch being frozen when the Anti-Assassins held a 2-point lead. With the game being over 60 minutes of play, victory was secured by the Anti-Assassins. The win was the first Anti-Assassins victory in this traditional fixture for many years.

Well done to all the OS who participated in the win.
