The distance is 6.9 miles (11.1km) with some steep climbs involved. Please see a map of the course in the information above. Those choosing to walk the course set off at midday, whilst the runners set off an hour later at 1pm. Both start and finish outside the Sports Hall at Casterton, Sedbergh Prep School.
The race will be followed by a BBQ and drinks which all are invited to and welcome to stay as long as they like. There will also be a presentation during this time where the first six Year 7/8 boys and girls will receive a medal, with the winner in each category receiving a Cup. The first three in the open event, both male and female, will also receive a medal.
If you are interested in attending please contact Benjamin Collins at bpc@sedberghschool.org. Entries can also be taken on the day of the run but please ensure you arrive no later than 12:30pm if you are planning on running, and before midday for those choosing to walk the course.
