IN THESE TIMES…

A warm welcome to all OS in these uncertain times. Understandably all OS events are postponed for the moment but some events, which took place prior to the lockdown, are reflected here. While there is no certainty when things will return to normal we have made some plans for the Autumn. Naturally we will know nearer the time if these will go ahead.

This is a difficult time for everyone, OS, the School, its pupils, and their parents. The School properties are presently closed but the School continues to teach online. This has been a challenge but one which the staff and the pupils have embraced.

The risk of illness aside, many are beset by financial worries. In this time of isolation please don’t think you are alone. Many OS have offered themselves as a contact should you need to talk to someone. Just contact us at the Club, which remains open (bpc@sedberghschool.org). The School will also be launching its own initiative to help the Sedbergh Community but more on this later this week.

On a brighter note I see some have taken the opportunity to catch up with old friends and hold ‘virtual’ parties online. Given that OS news is otherwise short please let us know what you are up to, and most importantly if we can print it!

Stay well, stay safe.
