ZEKE (EDWARD STUART) SMITH (E 46-50)

Sadly Zeke Smith (E 46-50) passed away on the 2nd November. At School Zeke was a School Prefect from 1949, Under Officer in O.T.C and was awarded House Colours in rugby as Captain of the 1st XV in 1949.

He was actively engaged with the School after leaving and had several roles within the OS Club, including a term as OS Club President from 1999-2002. He was a 1525 Society member and generously gave to School projects including the Cloisters renovation, the Roger Lupton Scholarships and the archive digitisation project in 2010. Along with his wife Yvonne, he regularly made the trip up from Oxfordshire to attend the 1525 Society President’s lunches and most recently on OS Sports Weekend for the opening of The Hirst Centre in September.
